How it works

Delivery locations:

We deliver to all UK mainland addresses. For international deliveries, please contact us now: Customer Services Team.

Delivery lead times:

Production and delivery of your aluminium gate takes 30 working days. Delivery of an automatic gate driver, remote control or other accessories takes 3 - 5 working days. To follow your order, login to My Account.

Delivery methods:

Delivery of our aluminium gates is carried out on pallets by our European logistic partner specialised in transport of over-sized and fragile objects. Prior to delivery, our carrier will contact you by phone (please mention a mobile phone number during the ordering process), in order to confirm delivery date. Delivery by appointment only from Monday to Friday. All our deliveries are delivered at the side of the road, unfortunately the carrier is not insured to help you to carry the items further than the equipment was placed from the truck. We strongly recommend having a second person on hand to help you further after delivery of the equipment by the carrier.

Efficient delivery:

At Mister Gates Direct we know that efficient shipping is very important to you. We use an online track &trace system. Once you have received your order confirmation, we will start with the production of your product. As soon as you have received a notice by email that your order has been dispatched, you will shortly receive a dispatch confirmation by e-mail with a tracking code that will enable you to check the progress of your delivery. You may also consult your personal account, login to My Account.

Attention: Delivery of your electric gate automation or gate remote control order will be carried out by DHL and separate from the delivery of your aluminium gate.

Important note: Check your order during delivery!

For a maximum safety during transport, all our aluminium gates are packed in foam, packed on pallets and shrink wrapped. The moment of the delivery, always ask the carrier to check with you the content and status of your delivery.

If you're asked to sign a card or electronic device that says you confirm that the goods are received in good condition, please ensure you have checked all goods thoroughly before signing. Your driver is obliged to be present for a period of 15 minutes whilst you check your order.

If you notice any damage to your equipment, transport stress or for any other reason, you need to issue a purchase reserve. This document states the reason why you do not accept the delivery of the order. THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR ANY RETURN PROCEDURE. Our customer services will not be able to handle your claim without this document.

Delivery Terms & Conditions

By placing an order through Mister Gates Direct you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

Mister Gates Direct – Delivery terms and condition

1. Delivery lead times

1.1.  All EMALU aluminium gates and fencing have a lead time of ± 6 weeks (30 working days). Whilst we try our upmost to meet this deadline it is issued as an estimation and Mister Gates Direct cannot be held liable in the event of the forecasted delivery date not being met.

1.2.  Mister Gates Direct cannot be held responsible for loss of earnings or disruption caused due to a change in delivery dates as determined through our transport providers.

1.3.  Delivery times may be extended during holiday periods.

1.4.  We cannot accept orders on the condition of a fixed delivery date.

1.5.  You will receive confirmation of a date and time slot 24-96 hours prior to delivery directly from our transport provider.

2. Receiving delivery

2.1.  Customers must ensure that their proposed delivery site is suitable and accessible for our transport provider’s vehicles (HGV), including but not limited to hard road, high clearance and turning space/exit route.

2.2.  It is up to the customer to ensure enough people are present to assist with the unloading of all goods.

2.3.  Deliveries must be unpacked and checked in the presence of the delivery driver before signing for the goods. Any damages or discrepancies must be reported during this inspection to the driver and reported to ourselves within 24 hours in writing to contact@mistergatesdiect.com

2.4.  In the event that your delivery site is unsuitable arrangements will be made to deliver to an alternate location.

3. Damaged goods

3.1.  In the unlikely event of your goods being damaged you must report this to the driver upon inspection and issue a purchase reserve order, this document must state the reason why you are not accepting delivery.

3.2. The courrier will not accept any liability once the goods have been delivered and signed for as 'received in good condition' any repairs will be done at Mister Gates Directs own discretion only in exceptional cases with any further transport costs covered by the customer.

3.3.  If you wish to accept your delivery but the goods are not in perfect condition please ensure you make note that you accept the delivery but with reservations, stating the reservations clearly on the form, you must also report these reservations to ourselves in writing within 24 hours.
